The difference is what the sight is made of, features and the optics.
The red dot sight that is included with the slingshot is good and works well. However, the sight is made of plastic and the lens is not made of glass. The parallax error for the optics is not bad,yet is not as good as the more expensive sights. To maximize accurate, and reduce the parallax, try to keep red dot in the middle of the sight when shooting.
The red dot sight has a left/right and elevation adjustment on the slingshot like that found on guns. For long distance shots, the elevation is easily adjusted by turning a knob which compensates for bullet drop.
