Balistics For the Laser Slingshot
The photo above shows the trajectory of the projectile. When shooting objects at less
than 10 feet the bullet will hit below the target. However, when shooting beyond 25 feet
the bullet may hit above the desired target. Once the bullet passes 60 feet it will start
to drop off quickly causing the bullet to hit below the target.
There are three ways to correct for bullet drop when shooting long distances. First when shooting
long distances slightly aim above the target to compensate for bullet drop. Second, pulling the pouch
back a further distance will provide a higher velocity causing the bullet to drop less. Third, used a three range sight to
to correct for the curved trajectory.
