Magnum Band for PS-62
* The magnum band provides more power allowing the shooter to shoot a farther distance.
When shooting arrows with the Double X Arrow Shooter, a magnum band is required. An arrow weights 15 time more than
a 3/8 inch steel ball. This is why the PS-62 comes with a magnum band.
The PS-62 has two reinforced stainless steel plates that allow the slingshot to withstand
the heavy recoil created from the magnum bands.
These two steel plates also provide the extra strength need when attaching high quality
accessories. The more expensive sights are made from steel and milled aluminum which are 2 to 5 times heaver.
Balistics For the Laser Slingshot
The laser slingshot's sight is positioned about 3 inches above the point
in which the bullet passes through the fork. As the bullet leaves the slingshot,
the sights will closely follow the trajectory of the projectile from 20 to
70 feet if using the magnum band. Below is an approximate graph showing how
the sights follow the projectile drop. Note: Depending on how far the pouch is
pulled back will effect the projectile's velocity and drop.
