After 2 years of testing and dozens of redesigns, the Double X arrow shooter was finally developed. When designing the
Double X Arrow Shooter, we wanted it to be as accurate as an expensive bow and arrow system, able to use the existing
slingshot sights, and be easy to attach and remove.
The PS-62 arrow shooter, uses the same 3-D pivioting patented technology. This new technology, not only works when
shooting steel balls, but also works with arrows.
For an archer to shoot a high quality bow, and arrow accuractely, the shooters must shoot with perfect form,
having their body, hand and arm placement exact for repeatability. This is not a required for the
Double X system arrow shooteer because of the 3d pivioting system. The only requirement is for the
shooter to have a smooth release of the arrow and
the arrow pulled back to the same distance.
For accuracy, in the first design, the arrow's feathers when passing through the arrow rest,
it would create an uneven disturbance. The slightest uneven disturbance would be magnified down range causing the arrow
to miss the target. An expensive bow uses a wisker bisket to overcome this problem.
Our solution to this problem is
double X system which provides an even disturbance free passing of the arrows feathers.
There are slingshots on the market that can shoot an arrow, but none are as accurate as the PS-62.
Wheather shooting an arrow or shot, the sights align with the projectial. However, an arrow has a lower
velocity as compared to the shot, therefore the arrow falls faster. The PS-62 includes a three range sight which
allows the shooter to have 3 ranges set for either shot or arrows. If desired, another 3 range sight could
be added to provide 6 preset distances.
The Double X Arrow Shooter can be quickly transformed back into a slingshot.
It takes approximately 20 seconds to remove and 40 seconds to install.

Shooting an arrow at a paper racoon using a green laser
The green laser is sighted in for only one specific distance. To hit a target that is further, you
must aim above the target. By using the 3 range sight you can preset the slingshot to shoot different distances.
To the right is a paper raccoon that is placed about 85 feet away. The laser is placed just above the target
to compensate for the drop in the arrow.
The Double X arrow shooter includes a arrow knot holder that will hold the rear of the arrow in the pouch.
This is nice because when hunting, the arrow can be held in ready position.
The knot holder also centers the arrow into the middle of the pouch which is important for accuracy.
